Heavy Rain Causes Office Damage

In May we experienced a lot of thunderstorms that rolled in very quickly and dumped a tremendous amount of rain in a short period of time.  We received a call from a customer after hours that their office area had been affected by the rain water and had soaked their carpet and walls.  The photo on the left shows the room when we first arrived.  The wall and carpet had elevated readings, so we had to remove the drywall and insulation from the wall.  The carpet we were able to treat and dry in place.  The photo on the right shows where we removed the wet drywall and started the three day dry out process.  The customer's work flow was not interrupted and they were able to still operate as normal.  SERVPRO of Hanover, Goochland & Caroline made it "Like it never even happened."
