Apartment Fire in Richmond, Virginia

This is an apartment in Richmond, Virginia that had a kitchen fire. The fire affected all the rooms in the apartment where we had to clean the structure and content. On the left is a picture of the fireplace where content was moved to show the amount of soot present. Then you can see on the right the picture of the same area after it was cleaned by our technician.

It is important to remove all the soot from the structure, especially if you plan on painting.  If you paint over the soot, you can keep the odor in the apartment.
